Not all the action in the nursery was taking place in the incubator today. We celebrated one week together with our Turkens...and look at those back feathers coming in!
They're making beautiful music, chirping while pecking the xylophone. Sweet!
And they're already looking for the escape hatch. :) Oh, boy...
Hopping, perching, roosting and already learning to fly. Double oh, boy!
Turkens are now spending time in the nursery (above, on the other side of the 'fence' from hatchling Elsike) and their home cage (below, enjoying a dust bath).
They are growing so fast and really enjoying the extra space.
